Andrew McCrea Featured At Ag Appreciation Banquet
Get ready for an evening of recognition, appreciation and high energy entertainment with Andrew McCrea featured at the Huron Chamber & Visitors Bureau Ag Committee’s annual Ag Appreciation Banquet. Each year the committee hosts the event to honor farmers and ranchers in the Huron Area. The banquet is scheduled for Thursday, December 6, 2018 at the Huron Event Center. Doors will open at 5:30pm and a buffet dinner will start at 6:30pm.
Andrew McCrea guides individuals and businesses to discover the “extra” that brings excellence in business and life. For the past two decades Andrew has traveled the country and the world producing his nationally syndicated radio and television broadcasts. He’s interviewed Emmy and Grammy winners, Hall of Fame athletes and even been body-slammed by professional wrestlers! As a farmer and rancher from northwest Missouri, Andrew knows what it is like to move herds of cattle and work 18-hour days harvesting a crop. Add to that, his experience as a five-time Oscar-winning radio broadcaster. He will be speaking on the subject of his new book called “The Total Town Makeover: Rethinking Business, Home and Community in Small Town America.”
Tickets to the event are $15 each for the general public. Farmers and ranchers pay only $3 per ticket which goes to provide scholarships given each year to graduating area high school students. Andrew McCrea is generously sponsored by Wilbur Ellis, First National Bank, and Cornerstone Financial Solutions. Many other area businesses sponsor the meal in order to make the evening very affordable for the farmers and ranchers.
A limited number of banquet tickets are available at the Huron Chamber & Visitors Bureau. To receive tickets by mail, please send name, address and phone number of each attendee along with a check to Huron CVB, 1725 Dakota Avenue South, Huron, SD 57350. For more information call 605-352-0000.
