The 2012 Pheasant Season is just around the corner and we would like to Welcome our Hunting Visitors to Huron and “Roll out the Orange Carpet!” The Huron Chamber & Visitors Bureau is hosting the Rooster Rush Storefront & Marquee Contest to showcase the friendly hospitality of Huron.
Businesses are encouraged to decorate and showcase their storefronts with a Hunting Theme throughout the season. This year’s opening day is Saturday, October 20. The contest will run through Friday, November 2 but each business may leave the decorations in place as long as they wish, with pheasant season ending January 6, 2013.
Prizes will be awarded based on all or some of the following criteria:
