Event Description:
WEATHER UPDATE: On Friday, April 13, 2018 we will be operating as normal for the city wide clean up. Make sure to get your items out here today for free. Due to the impending weather forecast for Saturday, April 14th please call 353-8542 to verify if we are open.
Be sure to bring your April city water utility bill and secure (cover and tie down) all loads! On these dates you will be allowed to have access to the city’s rubble site to dispose of items lying around your property by using your current water utility bill (current meaning the bill due in April) for unlimited use for the following materials: Household garbage, tires, metal, freon units, appliances, trees, wood, electronics, car battery, rubble (mattresses, furniture, carpet, construction material).
Restrictions that apply: hazardous waste (liquid paints, stains, paint thinners, chemicals, lithium batteries, anti-freeze, compressed gases) not allowed.
Businesses are excluded.
For your convenience the rubble site will have extended hours the following dates Thursday, April 12th and Friday, April 13th 8:00 am-6:00 pm, and Saturday, April 14th 8:00 am-5:00 pm.
Please lend a helping hand to your neighbor by assisting those who are not able to haul items to rubble site (be sure to bring their water utility bill). Let’s be proud of our community. Please call 353-8542 if you have questions.
