II. HOME OCCUPATION
A. Alex Goldade, Project Address 70 7th St SW, is requesting to operate a construction business in an area zoned R-4 (Multiple Family Residential District).
 
III. VARIANCES
A. Gene McMillan, Project Address 1347 1st St SW is requesting to allow a 2003 manufactured home (14’ X 52’) to be placed on the lot, where code only allows newly constructed manufactured homes (previously unoccupied) that are at least 24’ wide in an area zoned R-2 (One Family Residential District).  The applicant plans to raze the existing home.
 
B. Ferguson (Norman) Electric, Project Address 200 Utah Ave SE is requesting to construct a shop, storage garages, driveway and fence with reduced setbacks as follows:
1. Buildings will be 5’ from the west and north property lines, where code requires a 15’ front yard setback (corner lots require two front yards);
2. Driveway and fencing will be on the south property line, where code requires a 25’ setback if the side yard is adjacent to a residential district &
3. Building will be 5’ from the east property line, where code requires a 12’ setback or a 25’ setback if there are residential uses in an area zoned (I-2) General Industrial District.
 
C. Iverson Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep-Ram of Huron, Project Address - Vacant lot at 26th & Dakota S is requesting to allow one pylon sign and two billboard signs, which will be over the code allowed 400 square foot limitation for signage and billboard signs are not allowed in an area zoned B-3 (General Business District).
