Huron Elks Queen of Hearts Raffle
The Huron Elks Lodge will be having their 1st ever Queen of hearts drawing hosted by the Sportsman Bar in Huron.
Going forward starting July 21st this drawing will be held every Wednesday at the Sportsman.
The the game goes as follows:
There will be 54 cards pinned up in the locked Queen of Hearts display cabinet,
all cards of the deck including the jokers will be used and they will be numbered 1-54.
The night of the drawing at 8pm the Queen of Hearts committee will draw 3 names from the tickets sold, the 1st person drawn will get to draw a card and will automatically receive 10% of that weeks ticket sales, the other 2 people drawn will get to draw a card and will not automatically receive anything unless they pick a winning card.
Aces, Deuces, and Jokers are worth $25,
and Queen of Hearts is worth the pot.
The person that pulls the Queen of hearts card will receive 50% of the pot leas that weeks ticket sales, 40% of the pot will go to a local charity of the Huron Elks choosing, the remaining 10% and that weeks ticket sales will go to seed the pot of the next Queen of Hearts game, when the Queen of Hearts card is drawn the game is over and the following week we will start a new game.
Tickets will not remain in play every week!
All tickets sold will be thrown away at the end of the weekly drawing, this means if you want to have a chance at the pot every week you must buy a ticket each week to play.
Tickets are $5 per ticket or $20 for 6 tickets, for every purchase of 6 tickets you will receive 1 free drink ticket from the Sportsman Bar.
You need not be present to win, if you know that you will not be present at the drawing write down the name of the person that you want to draw your card on the back of your ticket, if you are not present and no person is designated on tour ticket then the Queen of Committee will designate a person to draw for you.
Tickets will be available the day of the event from 5pm to 8 pm.
