Saturday September 10th, 2016, 12:30 p.m.-4:00 p.m.
At The Maga Ta-Hopi WPA
(Located west of Huron on Hwy14 and 392 Ave, turn north go ½ mile.)
Mark your calendar to attend this free Maga Ta-Hohpi Friends Group & US Fish & Wildlife Service event. Learn some outdoor skills that will help you enjoy your outdoor experience in South Dakota.
Pre-register required by September 5th at www.friendsofmagatahohpi.com
Some of Activities you will be able to participate in are:
Rain or shine so dress appropriately for the weather and good walking shoes. Some items to bring along to enhance your experience would be hat/cap, insect repellent, and water for drinking.
Signed waivers and closed-toe shoes are required of all participants in this event. Children under the age of 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or adult.

- Upland Dog Demonstration by Jenny & Tate of Martinsen’s Red Point Kennel.
- Meet several breeds of upland dogs up close and personal
- Learn some Archery skills and safety from Huron’s Grand Slam Archery Club
- Waterfowl ID and hunting tips from Delta Waterfowl
- Learn how to use a compass and do a compass course exercise.
- Visit taxidermy exhibits and learn about taxidermy from Del’s Taxidermy.
