Event Description:
The fifth graders at Holy Trinity School applied for and received a grant from the Sodexo Foundation to help educate the public about food-insecurites and the hungry people of our community. Only people from the ages of 5-25 were eligible to apply for this grant.
The students have planned a fun afternoon of activities at Campbell Park on April 20 from 4:30-6:00 PM. Activities include face painting, speed stacking, hula-hoop, jump rope and football throw contests. People of all ages are welcome to come. Our goal is to raise awareness and to donate at least 360 cans of soup to the Backpack Program. Refreshments will also be served for a donation.
