Time: 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM CDT
Event Description:
The Huron Police Department is inviting you to participate in National Night Out. National Night Out is a campaign involving citizens, law enforcement agencies, civic groups, businesses and local officials. The program is designed to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness, generate support for and participation in local anti-crime programs, strengthen neighborhood spirit and police community partnerships and send a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.

Last year's National Night Out involved over 15,000 communities from all 50 states, U.S. territories, Canadian cities and military bases worldwide.  In all, over 37 million people participated in National Night Out.

The Huron Police Department will be participating in the 37th Annual National Night Out, on Tuesday, August 3, 2021, from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. National Night Out will be held in Campbell Park.

The Huron Police Department is looking for civic groups, businesses, individuals and service clubs to participate in National Night Out. The goal is to make a city wide block party, including food, informational booths, contests, demonstrations and various youth activities. We are looking for individuals to help fill all these categories.
