- Consider Leadership Huron current building estimates and material construction. Action needed: Based on agreement and goals for financing.
- Update on any school calendar decisions for 2014-2015. Action needed: Based on Huron School Board actions.
- Report of the number of skaters in the ice skating session 1 classes. Action needed: None, enough participants are registered to continue the program.
- Mention the coed volleyball program and school gym availability. Action needed: None, for informational purposes only.
- Report on the Huron Community Garden ideas for expansion of plots. Action needed: Based on agreement.
- Review acreage that the Parks & Recreation Department maintains and facilities in each park. Action needed: Based on master planning for department direction.
- New Business
- Mention the public meeting on the James River Recreation Area Master Plan. Action need: Discuss input and items to bring to the steering committee meeting of January 28, 2014.
- Consider donation of the Huron Garden Club of $1,184.00 for a bench to be placed at Winter Park. Action needed: Motion to accept donation.
- Consider the approval of travel expenses for Darvin Polsean to attend the Turf & Grass seminar and trade show March 3-5, 2014 with registration and dues included. Action needed: Motion to approve.
- Consider quote for brochure printing and flower orders for 2014. Action needed: Based on quote by local businesses.
- Consider application for trail construction or repair grants for 2014 deadlines. Action needed: Based on agreement.
