- CALL TO ORDER
- Approve the minutes of October 1, 2014.
- Approval of the Parks & Recreation Bills.
- Approval of the Parks & Recreation Agenda.
- Old Business
- Report on old municipal pool removal schedule and best ways to dispose of concrete. Action needed: Based on city and county commitment of necessary equipment and concrete grinding option.
- Mention backfill work that is being done to prepare for the concession/restroom installation at the Kunhart Field Softball Complex. Action needed: None, some costs are coming in on the project.
- Consider contract options and equipment appraisals for the Putters & Scoops operation. Action needed: Promote the timetable to offer the contract for public consideration.
- Mention continued work with tree removal and other fall projects. Action needed: Based on funding.
- Consider median right-of-way options and mowing schedule on Highway 14 & 37. Action needed: Based on agreement.
- New Business
- Mention the opportunity to keep costs down by the hiring of a local instructor for the ice skating program. Action needed: Costs will be much less and an increase in fees is requested $40.00 per skater per session. Motion to approve fee.
- Review further the Splash Central report for the 2014 season. Action needed: Based on any fee increase in 2015.
