- CALL TO ORDER
- Approve the minutes of December 11, 2013.
- Approval of the Parks & Recreation Bills.
- Approval of the Parks & Recreation Agenda.
- Old Business
- Mention meeting scheduled to sign a maintenance contract. Action needed: Based on timing of the maintenance fee for the contract.
- Mention use of the ice rinks at Prospect Park. Action needed: None, lights are in place for both rinks to be operational until 10:00 pm.
- Review open skate holiday schedule and participation. Action needed: Based on indoor ice rink times available for use.
- Mention that some materials are in to work on plumbing replacements at Mt. Dew Softball Complex. Action needed: Based on contractor timetable.
- New Business
- Review Parks & Recreation Board ordinances and any questions from the board. Action needed: None, based on expectations for board involvement in planning and operation.
- Review skating sharpening agreement with Bruce Bergman for 2014. Action needed: Motion to sign the contract.
- Mention cost of cameras for security purposes at the Softball Complexes. Action needed: Based on agreement.
- Allow for a schedule to obtain quotes and bids on the 2014 concession/restroom facilities at Kunhart Softball Fields. Action needed: Discuss the schedule for construction as the Softball Association/Public would best be served.
